Featured Photo Shoot: Jessi & Joe's Engagement

This past weekend I had the pleasure of hanging out with Jessica & Joe at Sunnyside Park in Toronto. Such a fun couple! They're looking forward to their destination wedding next year and wanted a beach-theme to their engagement pics. It was a lovely day in Toronto and we just wandered up and down the boardwalk snapping photos. :)

Black & White!

I've been working on my portfolio for a few days now. Often black & white images stand out to me, so I'm just posting some of my favorite b&w ones from Kim & Matthew's wedding. Enjoy!

Featured Photos: Kim & Matthew's Paletta Mansion Wedding

It's been so hard choosing some photos to put on the blog from Kim & Matthew's wedding! It happened at Paletta Mansion in Burlington on May 16th. Despite a bit of rain in the morning, the skies cleared up and we were welcomed with a warm blue sky in the afternoon. What a fun couple to be around! Here are a few that I chose from their celebration.

A Lesson In Aperture

My cousin Lesley is learning to use her DSLR a little more on the manual settings, so I put this little lesson together for her. It's the first of three lessons I'm going to make; the next being shutter speed & ISO, and the relationship they share with aperture. You'll find it's a very easy read, not too technical at all. Once you master that relationship, you'll get more comfortable creating pieces of art instead of regular snapshots. :) If you have any comments or questions on this first one, let me know!
